Share windows
between your Macs.

A window over there becomes a real window right here.
Native, live, and sharp. Like the app walked across the room.

A window, not a video feed.

Screen sharing hands you a picture of someone's desktop. Beam hands you the window itself: on your desktop, in your ⌘Tab with its own Dock icon.

1024 × 640 1280 × 800 1512 × 982

Feels native. Because it is.

Drag a corner here and the real window resizes over there. Shortcuts land.

Private by architecture.

Windows go straight from Mac to Mac, encrypted. We never see them.

Crisp text, hairline strokes, one-pixel borders. Every glyph lands on the exact grid it was hinted for.

Beam Screen Sharing

Retina sharp.

Streamed at your display’s exact resolution, so text stays crisp. Nothing scaled to fit.

View your windows in a browser.

No app on that device? Windows open in a browser tab too.

Move files between Macs.

Drag a file onto a beamed window, or copy and paste. It lands on the other Mac.

Sound travels with it.

Toggle the speaker and the beamed app's audio plays on this Mac. Just the one app.

If it has a window, you can beam it.

The build on the Studio. The agents on the Mac mini. The song playing in the other room.

Use every Mac from the one in front of you.

Install Beam on both, pick a window, and it opens on your desktop. Live, native, and yours to type into, straight from one Mac to the other.

How is Beam different from screen sharing?

Screen sharing hands you a picture of a whole desktop. Beam hands you the window itself, at its own size, with its own Dock icon and a place in ⌘ Tab. Like the app walked across the room.

Is it the same as Universal Control?

No. Universal Control shares one keyboard and mouse between Macs on the same desk. Beam brings the windows of a Mac in another room, or another city, to the one in front of you.

What do I need?

Two Macs on macOS Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel, with Beam on both. Sign in once and your Macs find each other. The same Wi-Fi is all it takes, and with Tailscale your other Mac can be anywhere.

What does the other Mac see?

By default the window stays put and you use it in place, so anyone at that Mac sees it work. Switch it to Fluid and it moves to your screen instead, at full resolution.

Is it private?

Yes. Your windows, keys, clipboard and sound go straight between your Macs, encrypted, and never through our servers. Your account knows your Macs and your plan, never what’s on them.

How much is it?

Sharing your Macs is always free, and so is joining a link. To use them from another Mac all day, it’s $12 a month, $84 a year, or $199 once for Lifetime. One plan covers every Mac you use.

Can I try it first?

Yes. Free gives you 20 minutes a day with your other Macs, every day, with no card.

Is there a plan for teams?

Yes. $12 a person a month or $84 a year, with every seat 20% off from 10 people. One invoice, a team page to add and remove people, and every Mac they use comes free.

Can I show a window to someone who doesn't have Beam?

Yes. A share link opens one window in any browser, on any device, and guests join free. It’s view only unless you allow control, and it lasts from an hour to a week.

Does it work without the internet?

Yes. On your own network your Macs talk to each other directly, and Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime keep working for up to 30 days offline. Free needs a connection for its daily minutes.

Does it work with a Mac that has no display?

Yes, and it shines there. A headless Mac mini or Studio lists its windows like any other Mac, so your builds and agents are a click away.

What if I need help?

Email hello@beam.win and we’ll help. If Beam doesn’t work for you and we can’t put it right, we’ll sort out a refund.
